The Global Commons Alliance is a growing coalition of scientists, philanthropists, civil society groups, businesses and innovators, enabling collective action to safeguard the global commons.
GCA key partners are ambassadors of the Alliance. They share their own network, knowledge, expertise and resources, and support the implementation across one or more of the Alliance components. They contribute to the strategic guidance of the Alliance and sign a Statement of Intent reflecting the collaboration areas and associated mutual benefits.
Alliance members join the GCA knowing that no one institution can solve the challenges we face alone. Members benefit from strategic collaboration and alignment in order to avoid siloed interventions. We celebrate each other’s successes; we understand these as beneficial to us all; we stay grounded in science and hold each other to account with honesty and respect.
