New Energy Nexus is a nonprofit global organization that strives towards an abundant world with a 100% clean energy economy for 100% of the population in the shortest time possible. To achieve this goal, they support diverse clean energy entrepreneurs with funds, accelerators, and networks.
Emergency funding is needed to ensure that entrepreneurs can continue the clean energy transition in rural Uganda.
This project will enable the local team to work with clean energy entrepreneurs and startups to develop their businesses, build capacity, and receive a structured business development program.
To strengthen the support following the ‘Climate Ready for women’ program, which serves as an early-stage accelerator program for women in product development, grants are sought to support the six most promising women-led startups to aid their first pilots in the market.
