The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund has signed a 25-year agreement with the community to help the families develop a sustainable management plan for the area and protect the critically endangered Grauer’s gorillas.

Support for the Fossey Fund’s work will focus on protecting individual gorillas and their families 365 days a year and conducting the scientific research needed to develop effective conservation strategies.
