The Sichuan Basin & Central Mountain Forests bioregion is located in the Central East Asian Forests subrealm of Eastern Eurasia (eastern Palearctic) and contains three ecoregions—Daba Mountains Evergreen Forests (659), Qin Ling Mountains Deciduous Forests (677), Sichuan Basin Evergreen Broadleaf Forests (680)—totaling approximately 39 million hectares of land area.
