The Scandinavian Birch & Coastal Conifer Forests bioregion is located in the Subarctic Eurasia realm (northern Palearctic) and contains two ecoregions—Scandinavian Coastal Conifer Forests (708), Scandinavian Montane Birch Forest and Grasslands (780)—totaling more than 26 million hectares of land area.
