The Sayan Mountains & Siberian Forest Steppe Bioregion bioregion is part of the Altai-Sayan Mountains subrealm located in the Central Eurasia realm (central Palearctic) and contains four ecoregions—Sayan Montane Conifer Forests (707), Sayan Intermontane Steppe (736), South Siberian Forest Steppe (738), Sayan Alpine Meadows and Tundra (764).
