Greater Eurasian Tundra bioregion
The Greater Eurasian Tundra bioregion is located in the Subarctic Eurasia realm (northern Palearctic) and contains six ecoregions—Kola Peninsula Tundra (774), Northeast Siberian Coastal Tundra (775), Northwest Russian-Novaya Zemlya Tundra (776), Novosibirsk Islands Arctic Desert (777), Taimyr-Central Siberian Tundra (781), Yamal-Gydan Tundra (784)—totaling more than 197 million hectares of land area.
